Carolyn Adkins is Grammy. She has been a resident of Salisbury, Maryland since 1985 and is married
to Jerry Adkins. She is called Grammy by Amy Cook & Justin Perdue of Salisbury, Aaron Parker of
Salisbury, Maryland and Catherine and Abigail Corrie of Norfolk, Virginia. She is also the Great-Grammy to
T.J. and Madison Cook and Isaiah Perdue of Salisbury, MD.
Her career in stained glass began in 1998 when she was given a box of sheet glass that belonged to her father,
Roger Freeman. When Roger was living he enjoyed doing stained glass as much as Carolyn does.
Carolyn enjoys sharing the art of stained glass with her students and is pleased to be able offer stained glass,
supplies and workshops to the area. Hope you can stop by sometime!
Grammy is working part-time outside of the studio at Salisbury University.
